Re-opening update from Escape Massage - Susanna Reffner LMT about COVID-19

Escape Massage - Susanna Reffner LMT

Some changes due to COVID-19
Dear Escape Massage community,

I wanted to give you an update to let you know I don't know the exact date yet as to when we can re-open. I am awaiting further instruction from the State of Texas Governors Office & The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations. It looks like there is a good possibility it will be around mid-May.

***The only exception to being able to do massage at this time, is for the purpose of it being medically required. If you have a MEDICAL reason requiring massage it will need to be determined by your Dr or Chiropractor and I will need that in writing. If this is the case for you, please contact me to set something up. I can not accept online appointments right now.

Some changes in my business due to COVID-19:

• More extensive cleanings, including sanitizing surfaces in between each client. As always thoroughly washing hands and forearms before & after each client and also will be requiring all clients to wash their hands before & after. I will be wearing a face mask and ask that my clients do as well, as much as possible. To limit the number of people in the lobby/waiting area I will ask that you remain outside in your vehicle if possible, and call or text me to let me know you have arrived. I will let you know when you can come in. I will also be enforcing clients that have been sick or around anyone who has been sick to not come in the office for at least 2 weeks to ensure the health of all.

• Changes to opening hours - I am anticipating during the initial phase of re-opening to change my open availability to 3-4 days a week. I will still include a good mix of morning, afternoon, evening & weekends.

• Monthly Massage Members - Membership payments were not charged in April and will not be charged in May. If you come in May we will charge your discounted rate at the time of service. If you were not able to come in March, but your membership was charged, you may redeem that prepaid massage at any time in the future. Once I can officially re-open for business I will check in with each member individually to see what you would like to do going forward.

If you’re looking for more ways to protect yourself and your loved ones, check out the CDC website.

Thank you so much for sticking with me!  I look forward to supporting each other during these challenging times. I hope everyone is staying safe & healthy and enjoying quality time with your family. I miss all of you and can't wait to see you at the office soon!
