GOUGE Wresting, Heritage Turkey Pre-Order, Terra Nova Brewery

Who’s ready to rumble? GOUGE Wresting is coming to Rebus Works and all are invited to this family-friendly free event. We will have Raleigh Tamales serving up tamales and empanadas, too!

Founded in 1962 by Alvin Joyce, Joyce Farms remains a proud, family-owned business. Today, Alvin's son Ron, along with his grandsons Ryan and Stuart, continue the legacy. Their headquarters and USDA-inspected poultry processing facility are in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, with partner farms across the Carolinas and Georgia.

Terra Nova Beer Co. is a small craft brewery in Asheville, NC. They opened their doors in May of this year and were beginning to get their footing in the community when Helene tore through Western NC. Thankfully Terra Nova’s buildings were ok, but the economy of Asheville was hit hard. Like many other small businesses in the Asheville region, they are now relying on customers outside of their area. Thank you for trying their beer! Come by for a pint if you’re ever up that way.

Rebus Works got a call that Terra Nova needs help moving produce, so we are now carrying three of their beers to go and put Astral Wonderlust West Coast Style IPA and Dogtown Daze West Coast Style Pilsner on tap.

We now have acorn, butternut, and spaghetti squash available! Plus, we’ve got a pumpkin patch for your family to pose in.

These heirloom pumpkins are from Happy Dirt farmer Sanford Fidel in Western NC. The more pumpkins we move together, the more he can replenish, which means Happy Dirt can send more supplies back on Sanford’s truck to Ashe County! Who doesn’t love a porch filled with cool pumpkins? And a bonus…these will last until Thanksgiving and make the best pies!

HURRICANE HELENE RELIEF

We’re still in shock about what happened to our neighbors in the mountains, and we’re doing what we can here by collecting Go Fund Me requests and adding them to our relief page. Most of the people we’ve contacted who are still operating have requested that we promote their products, as they want to avoid missing out on fall visitors. We are working on acquiring more of their goods, so keep Rebus in mind as you start your holiday shopping.
