We are consulting health experts and monitoring expert recommendations, including guidance from the World Health Organization (WHO), the Johns Hopkins University Coronavirus Resource Center, and local health officials.
Beyond simply monitoring the situation, we are taking active measures to make sure the food that gets delivered to your home is safe and secure, and all employees are using proper sanitizing protocols as usual.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have no reports of human illnesses that suggest COVID-19 can be transmitted by food or food packaging, but we remain vigilant to ensure efficacy and safety remain the top priority.
Health and safety are all of our responsibilities. We encourage you to practice safety measures at home and when you're out. Wash your hands with soap and water frequently, cover your nose and mouth with a tissue or your elbow if you have to sneeze or cough, and please stay home if you are sick. Take measures to avoid unnecessary contact with large crowds and confined gatherings of people to help slow the spread of COVID-19.
