Important Updates from 107 Roasters: Going Our Own Way

107 Roasters & Cafe

We're Moving (And Shaking)
Amarillo by Morning

We are excited to announce that 107 Roasters has the opportunity to expand and move to a new city. We will be streamlining all of our manufacturing and café to Amarillo, TX, this July. This decision was a long time in the making, and we’ve done everything we can to offer McKinney and North DFW delicious-tasting coffee drinks and roasted beans for the past 10 years. We have reached a point where, if we want to continue to offer the same level of quality and consistency in our products, we need to be in the right place at the right time. We truly believe McKinney has been the right place for our beginning, and we’ve loved seeing all of our fans at our locations, whether our café or roasting facility. As the coffee landscape changes, McKinney and North DFW are changing too, and it’s becoming more apparent that these different directions are aligning less each day for the fun and unique business model we wish to offer our fans. By moving, we hope to preserve our offerings, quality, and personal investments to continue growing and innovating for our fans. We will always have a special place in our hearts for our founding city. We will still remain “McKinney’s longest-operating coffee roaster” for some time, and we are always proud to have held that title. Keep in mind, while we will no longer be in the immediate area, we will still be in North Texas, we will still ship your coffee to you, and you will still have your favorite coffees roasted by Roaster Dave, Elaine, and Patrick, just with a new address. We are continuing to explore new ways to serve our roasted coffee online and locally in some fashion. Our online store will remain open for all your shipping needs. We hope to see familiar fans on the web, and we will have more to announce about the new location in the coming weeks, so keep in touch!

Timeline

Beverage Service Ends Saturday, May 31st - We will be hosting a celebratory beverage finale at our roastery on Saturday, May 31st, from 8 AM to 4 PM. Drinks will be available as supplies last until the end of the month, so don’t miss your last chance to try our original 107 drinks. We will have regular hours for the month of May (Friday - Sunday, 8 AM to 4 PM). We will also have our Saturday 11 AM roasting tours for the rest of this month as well.

New June Hours - We will be open to sell bags of coffee during June on Fridays and Saturdays from 8 AM to 4 PM. We will not be serving beverages during this time. We will close on Sundays during this time to allow us to begin packing up our less essential items and get them ready for the move. We will still be offering the same bags of coffee our fans enjoy. We don’t expect any inventory issues; however, we may choose to set a purchase limit depending on product availability to ensure we can provide enough coffee for both our fans and wholesale clients. We will also be hosting free roasting tours during this time on Saturdays at 11 AM. Our June schedule may have changes so keep an eye on social.

July is Move Month - We will start moving the large equipment and begin shipping only on all orders for coffee beans. We hope to introduce ways to offer discounted shipping and more on our site. We don’t anticipate any stock issues or shipment delays, but keep an eye on social media and our emails for any changes.
