December Goings On: Happy Holidays!

•December 2, Monday: Purely Poetry 7pm, Staunton Christmas Parade 7pm, and Monday is Funday! Accordia is open until 9pm. Feel free to help us trim our freshly cut Christmas Tree! We will have a preview of our Glühwein (Mulled Wine) on hand this evening to keep you warm.

•December 4, Wednesday: First wine club pick-up party, 5-8pm

•December 15, Sunday: Christmas Chocolate & Wine Pairing with Laurie's Chocolates. By Reservation Only. 5 Chocolate truffles paired with our wines. 3pm seating. 6pm seating based on demand, please contact us.

•December 22, Sunday: 12-6pm Annual Holiday Large Wine Tasting

•December 24, Tuesday: Christmas Eve. Open 12-4pm for purchases.

•December 25, Wednesday: Merry Christmas! Accordia will be closed. Open again on Thursday 3-11pm.

•December 31, Tuesday: 'Bubbles & Bites' - annual amusing afternoon at Accordia with small bites paired with real Champagne. 12-5pm

•January 1, Wednesday. Happy New Year. Accordia will be closed.

Purely Poetry: Every first Monday of the Month: December 2nd at 7pm

Staunton's Christmas Parade - goes right by our shop. Open until 9pm.

Monday is Funday at Accordia

Accordia's social & happy hour with $7 glasses of wine or bubbly, $4 select beers,

& food specials. Eat, drink, and be Merry at Accordia!

Purely Poetry - Poetry Reading & Workshop

Come and listen to us reciting our own poetry or song, recite yourself a poem or two... we all help each other if there is a writer’s block, a headline missing, a ending too abrupt, a beginning too frazzled. You are welcome to participate or just come by and listen. Come and see for yourself, how nice it all is!

We will go to a local Christmas Tree farm and harvest our own tree! Come by to enjoy the scent of Tannenbaum and feel free to help us decorate!

Laurie has some great chocolate truffles with amazing flavors this year and we will come up with some interesting pairings

Laurie of Laurie’s Chocolates will present her delicious chocolates and we will pair them with our delicious wines! Laurie is a true artisan who has been making her chocolates for more than 20 years - come enjoy them!

Accordia Wine Club

First Pick-Up Party • Wednesday, December 4, 5-8pm at Accordia

A kind-hearted thanks to the 31 folks that joined our club - we are humbled by the strong response and all of the support. We look forward to seeing those of you who can make the party. You will meet fellow wine enthusiasts, taste the wines in our quarterly selection, and have some light bites! See you there!

A membership to our club makes a nice gift for novices, anyone who wishes to learn more, or more advanced wine aficionados. It's about exploring the world and sharing.

Details

We are offering 2 wine clubs: Seasonal Wine Club and Natural Wine Club.

Eash Quarter we will supply you 4 carefully selected wines from our portfolio and great distribution network.

The Seasonal Wine Club

We will select wines that fit your seasons, like more reds in winter and more whites in the summer.

The Natural Wine Club

We will select from the most natural wines in our portfolio, such as: Orange/Amber Wines, Pet Nats - Naturally Sparkling, Low to Zero Sulfur Added, Low Intervention - Unfiltered - Unfined - Native Yeast Ferments

Prices:

Seasonal Wine Club: $140

Natural Wine Club: $150

Perks:

• We will have a Wine Club pick-up party every quarter where you can pick up your 4 wines. You will get to taste your wines and have some munchies with them and meet fellow wine lovers.

• In addition you can come and taste our wines for free once a week.

•You will also get a canvas tote to carry your wines out – it's also useful...when you bring your Accordia tote for future purchases, you will receive $1 back as a reward for recycling and sustainability.

• Discounts: 1-2 bottles purchased is 5% off, 3-11 bottles and you'll get 10% off, and if you go for a case you will receive 15% off.

Your minimum membership is 1 year. We will bill you each quarter.

Early cancellation fee is $50.

If you are from out of town, we will hold your wines for 1 year.

January Outlook & Opening Times

We will be adjusting our opening times in January

Jan 2-11: normal schedule

open: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, Saturday, Sunday.

From Monday Jan 13th:

Friday 11.30-11

Saturday 11-11

Sunday 12-8

We will do tastings only on Fridays from 5-8 pm.

We will recommence with our regular tastings on Tuesday and Fridays in February.

Our regular hours will also start again Monday, February 3rd
