Happy Lammas, or Lughnasadh!
We are deep into summer, at the halfway point between the Summer Solstice and the Autumn Equinox, though you wouldn't know it by the weather in foggy Santa Cruz lately. The days remain delightfully long, and while the bright colors of the summer blooms are still prevalent, the deep reds, oranges, and purples of the upcoming season are beginning to emerge. Symbols of this pagan holiday include sickles and scythes, wheat, oats, bread, and other symbols of the harvest of the summer season.
By the next time you hear from me, I will have been to Burning Man (with a new camp!) and spent a long restorative weekend the Yuba River. The fast-paced rhythm of the summer season overtook me, despite my best efforts to slow down. It has been a fun, rich few months, and also a time of deep introspection about the state of the world. It's an interesting time to be alive, no doubt. How are you taking care of yourself in the midst of all that is happening?
I am trying to meditate, dance, be in nature, and take care of my communities in the best ways I know how. Making plenty of time for stillness and rest have been essential. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to support you 💕
To that end, I would like to begin offering personally designed and curated experiences for you! Is there a psychedelic experience you have been dreaming of? A ritual? A group exploration? On your own, with your beloved, or a group of friends? At a cozy indoor location, or out in nature? Let's cultivate and co-create! I am really excited about this opportunity we have to invoke the experience and support we need in these unprecedented times. If you feel called, reach out to me and let's nurture our ideas into realities!
