Dry January Final Countdown + Lee Nisbet Final Showing + Freshly Baked by Meg + Preview of Things to Come

REFRAMING "CRUSHED SPIRITS"
As we roll into the last week of Dry January, let’s shift the narrative. Instead of a relieved “FINALLY, it’s almost over,” why not celebrate the win? Think of it as a month of detoxing, resetting, and trying new things you might never have considered otherwise.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve shared tips on nourishing your body and shaking up your routines with zero-proof spirits and creative alternatives. And honestly? We’ve got an impressive lineup to keep Dry January feeling more like an adventure than a chore.

So, as we bid farewell to this month of mindful choices, let’s skip the beer one more time and crush these instead—cheers to ending on a high note!
Parch Spiced Piñarita NA Agave Cocktail
Parch Spiced Piñarita NA Agave Cocktail $6.00
Parch Spiced Piñarita is a total standout. It’s neither a cannabis drink nor an alcoholic one—just a delicious, cocktail-esque experience. Think smoky, spicy lush golden pineapple, organic blue weber agave, smoky cayenne, juicy prickly pear, and mole bitters, with a dash of cocoa extract and desert botanicals. But wait, there’s more—this drink’s loaded with adaptogens like L-Theanine, Ashwagandha, and Ginseng, all working together to melt away stress and boost your well-being. L-theanine helps with mental focus and relaxation, ashwagandha chills out cortisol (the stress hormone) and may improve sleep, while ginseng adds an immunity and energy boost.

Looking to level up your relaxation? Pair it with Levity’s Agave High Water for the ultimate Dry January-friendly chill session. We think your mind (and body) will thank you.
Burial Beer Co. Seance Mango Tiki Punch
Burial Beer Co. Seance Mango Tiki Punch $8.00 - $28.00
If you’re adding a little cannabis magic to your Dry January, we’ve got just the thing: Seance Mango Tiki Punch, a fresh new THC sparkling water from Burial Beer. This isn’t your average sparkling drink—it’s a vibrant, tropical fusion inspired by classic tiki cocktails. Think mango, lemon, passionfruit, guava, mint, and tropical spices, all blended together in perfect harmony. With 0.0% alcohol, this double-dose ritual is all about connection—and making Dry January a little more... spirited. Bonus: every sip supports a local Western NC business. So go ahead, sip with a purpose.
PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT:
Little Saints St. Juniper Lion’s Mane Mushroom Spirit
Little Saints St. Juniper Lion’s Mane Mushroom Spirit $55.00
Our love for Little Saints’ St. Ember led us to bring in their latest masterpiece: the woodsy, citrusy St. Juniper. This alcohol-free blend is crafted with lion’s mane mushroom to spark creativity and focus, and damiana flower, known for its heart-opening, mood-lifting qualities that bring a sense of connection and warmth. It’s a sophisticated alternative to gin, perfect for crafting a G&T mocktail—or, as we like to call it, a spiritual elixir.

And, because every great drink deserves a great mixer, we’ve stocked up on TopNote Indian Tonic Water to round out the experience. Why not stir up something fresh and feel-good this week?

LAST CHANCE TO VIEW LEE NISBET’S WORK
This is the final week to catch Lee Nisbet’s *#merging #nightdrives* exhibition at Rebus Works! Her photography series delves into the clash between fleeting, real-world moments and the curated, often distorted, digital landscapes we navigate daily. Captured from a moving vehicle with just a smartphone, the images are transformed using apps and social media filters into surreal, inverted depictions that blur the line between reality and digital artifice.

These pieces are a visual paradox—still yet kinetic, with vibrant colors that demand to be experienced in person.

And if you haven’t grabbed one yet, don’t miss out on the Artist Roast coffee bags featuring her original artwork. They were so popular, we're down to just a few—and with Valentine’s Day on the horizon, they make a perfect, one-of-a-kind gift for someone special.
ON THE ROAD AGAIN:
PREVIEW OF THINGS TO COME
Shonna’s gearing up for her usual mountain run, but this time it’s extra special. It’ll be her first trip to Western NC since Hurricane Helene left its mark, and we’re all about supporting the incredible towns and businesses there however we can—whether through fundraising (see below) or bringing back their awesome products to Rebus. On her way back, she might even swing by Joyce Farms in Winston-Salem for some grass-fed ground beef. Stay tuned—we’ll let you know when we’ve got our stash of hand-made sausages and bacon from Ramblin Poppy in West Jefferson, Ashe County Cheese, and, if she can make it happen, jams from Old Orchard Creek in Lansing.

HURRICANE HELENE RELIEF ON OUR WEBSITE
We are still reeling from the events that impacted our neighbors in the mountains, and we’re taking action by gathering GoFundMe campaigns and featuring them on our relief page. Many of the businesses we’ve reached out to that are still open have asked us to showcase their products, as they’re eager to attract autumn visitors. We’re also in the process of securing more of their offerings, so remember to think of Rebus when you begin your holiday shopping.
