Our newsletter this month will keep you updated on all the exciting events happening at Whimsical Wonders!

Have you heard the news? We are in the works of getting our Tea Bar finally OPEN! The TBA date is August 15th but will have an official date as we get it finished. Until then we are working on a small menu of drinks that will be offered and includes the following:

Mushroom Coffee Alternatives

Herbal Lemonades

Iced and Hot Teas

Also don't forget! We moved our Meditation Classes to Monday Nights and our Informational classes on Saturdays have been moved to after hours at 6pm so don't miss out on the fun – subscribe now and stay in the loop!

Our class schedule this month includes:

August 3rd - NO CLASS

We will be building the wall for the Tea Bar after hours!

August 10th - Tarot 102 Reading for Others

Join Makena for a intermediate level Tarot class as she teaches basic card spreads and how to start reading your cards with better confidence for others.

This is a hands on class so please bring your own decks.

Class will Begin at 6pm after hours and go until 8pm

Entry Fee is $10

August 17th - The Art of Tea Making

Join Makena as she shares the ritual aspects of tea making. Each country may hold different traditions but the one thing that's the same across the world is that tea brings people together. For this class, there will be a Gongfu Tea Ceremony followed by a hands on workshop on making traditional Chinese tea.

Class will Begin at 6pm after hours and go until 8pm

Class Fee is $15

August 24th - Understanding Pendulums Class

Join us for another Pendulum Class In this class you will learn the uses of pendulums, pendulum boards, and a bit of their history. Please feel free to bring your own or if you need one there are available ones to choose from at shop.

Class will Begin at 6pm after hours and go until 8pm

Entry Fee is $10

August 31st - NO CLASS

We will be vending at the Worldwide Food Truck Tours located at the Riverview Band Shell here in Clinton Iowa from Noon to 9pm!

Other Events Include:

August 1st - Lammas Celebrations

Join us in Celebration of Lammas, also known as Lungnashda, and is another Quarter Festival of the Wheel of the Year. It is the time of year commemorating the first harvest of grain and honors the bounty of nature before the coming darkness of Winter.

We will still be having a few sales as well as holding a free candlelight ceremony for those wishing to attend at 7pm.

August 4th- New Moon Blessings & Manifestations

The New Moon is the perfect time for starting over and planting the seeds of the future you envision. We will be doing manifestation work as well as offering blessings for anyone wishing to partake. Children are also welcome to join in this free experience.

Event will be after hours at 6pm and go until 8pm

August 8th - Music On The Avenue

This is the Final Music on the Avenue that we will be participating in for the Summer. Swing by to check out our table outside of Renaissance Boutique from 6pm to 8pm.

August 15th - TBA - Possible Opening of the Meraki Tea Bar

This is the tentative date for the opening of the Meraki Tea Bar in shop.

Please Note that this can change.

August 19th - Full Moon Cleansings

The Full Moon is a time of letting go of things that no longer serve your higher good and cleansing away any negativity that may have found its way to you within the past month. We will be offering burnings as well as cleansings for body, soul and spirit. You are welcome to bring any spiritual tools that you may wish to have cleansed as well for this free event.

Event will be after hours at 6pm and go until 8pm

July 31st - Tea Club Social - Tea Ceremony

Join Makena for the end of the month Tea Ceremony for all our Tea Club Subscribes. This is a free event included in the subscription, and is a time to connect with other tea lovers from the community. The Tea of the Month will be the tea that is served and will be a part of a Chinese Tea Ceremony called Gongfu.

Event will be after hours at 6pm and go until 8pm
