A Message From Our Founder About the Spokane Complex Fires
Like so many of you, we have been heartbroken watching the Spokane Complex fires tear through our community. I grew up down Indian Trail, and seeing the devastation in that area and across Spokane, with hundreds of homes lost, has hit close to home in the truest sense.

At the same time, we have been moved by how quickly Spokane has come together. Neighbors sheltering neighbors, strangers showing up to help, businesses and volunteers organizing support within hours of the fires breaking out. It is a reminder that no one in this community has to go through something like this alone.

We want to do our part. For the entire month of September, Indaba Coffee will donate 10 percent of all bagged coffee sales, in store, online, and through our wholesale partners, to the Innovia Foundation. This donation will support impacted individuals and families through their nonprofit partners who have experience providing direct services to our community. Our friends at Heritage Bank are also matching our donation up to $10,000. Our goal is to raise at least $20,000 total for our neighbors who need it most.

And as always, every bag of Indaba coffee you buy provides a meal to someone in need in our community, so this month your purchase does double duty: a meal for someone facing hunger, and direct support for our neighbors rebuilding after the fires. That means every cup brewed at your favorite cafe or restaurant serving Indaba coffee this September is also contributing to this effort.

If you would like to support the fund directly, you can do so here: https://innovia.org/wildfire-response/

Thank you to everyone who has shown up for Spokane during this time. We will get through this together.
