An Update From The Owner :)

The Update: The landlord has taken the building off the market and has made it clear it will not be back on the market before my lease ends on July 1st. Also, the "back-up" building I thought would be an easy second option has already closed with another buyer. My landlord also continues to suggest I go to a month to month lease with 30 day vacate notice once my current lease ends. 

I cannot operate a full brick and mortar with our rescue cats, customer's boarded cats, employees etc on a month to month basis. While terms could still be negotiated it seems clear I will not be able to have a stable long term future at this location.

The Plan: I have looked at a few locations but there will be pretty heavy build-out needed. We are continuing the Go Fund Me in order to have funds available to move and build-out in a new location. Also, if you know of a great spot don't hesitate to reach out! The main place we are looking at needs some interior finish out, a sink and laundry facility installed, potentially a new AC unit, and most importantly....a parking lot. We are still open to other options but would like to remain in our general area.
