Planned Activities:
Friday:
Arrive Benicia Marina in the afternoon/ evening depending on when you leave.
There are lots of recommended restaurants to have lunch and dinner nearby.
Saturday:
David Hayward to host cocktails aboard his boat "Glass Eagle" from 2:00 - 5:00pm, then move to BYC for cocktails and dinner.
Cocktail Hour from 5 - 6pm at BYC with their members.
Dinner at BYC starting at 6pm.
Sunday:
Early Memorial Day Potluck/ BBQ Gathering at BYC from 1:00 - 5:00pm. Bring a protein and your favorite side to share with the group.
Monday:
Before heading out, if anyone wants to gather to have breakfast at a local restaurant that would be lovely.
We need to depart from the marina no later than 12pm.
Benicia Yacht Club is open from 12-10pm both Friday & Saturday and from 12 - 5pm on Sunday. They serve lunch from 12 - 2pm on Friday & Saturday.
There is lots to do in Benicia: shop, spas, explore, take a nice stroll/ bike ride on land or bring your kayak, SUP, or dinghy to explore the area on the water! There is also a glass blowing studio and pottery studio that we can go create beautiful pieces of art. Bring wine & cheese and have a great time!
Whatever you decide to do, enjoy, relax and have FUN!
We will be communicating on VHF channel 74 while underway to stay in touch with one another.
