Opening Saturday: STRANGE GIRLS CLUB 🐙

Strange Girls Club features the untamed landscapes of womanhood through a collection of surreal acrylic paintings. Set within dreamlike environments, Summer Clarke's figures take root in imagined worlds that borderline concepts of fantasy, whimsy, and spirituality. These works invite viewers to enter a world where symbolism reaches girlhood in the strangest way.

The opening reception is Saturday, July 11, starting at 6pm!

This exhibition also marks the debut of Armstead, an original comic written and illustrated by Clarke. Chapter one introduces Armstead, a spacefaring bunny detective's day-to-day adventures. Enjoy the mature hijinks of his friends and enemies in this 40-page adult comic!

Dreaming in Color is Natalie Andrewson's love letter to Risograph.

The book collects over 70 of her Risograph prints from past years, which includes lots of dragons, some fanart, critters, creatures, magic, fantasy warriors, craftswomen, and more. Peow2 put extra care into faithfully recreating the risograph printing magic for offset printers, with custom fluorescent pantone blends and a special process dubbed Dreaming in Color risoset™

In addition, the opening section of Dreaming in Color contains an in-depth interview covering Natalie's start with Riso printing and how she uses the machines to make her artwork. There's even a transparent page section visually recreating the risograph color layering! Sketch and process images are scattered throughout the book as well, alongside a little author commentary for each of the images to provide a bit of extra insight to the artwork.
