ComicsMongers Bulletin: Sweet Comics In The Summertime Is The Right Time for Reading!

Sending this out on a lovely Saturday afternoon. Not too hot with plenty of sun. It'd make a great time to pick up a couple of comics and read them outside! Or inside reading comics is good too, don't get me wrong. I'm going to keep today's edition of the Bulletin short. I wanna tell you about the new events we have scheduled, but first, I, Xtian, needs to ask yall for car help. I need a car! My car died last month in the middle of my move. Friends have let me use their cars but I need to get my own car. After selling my previous car for $900 and a about $450 saved from pet sitting jobs. I want and need to get this over with so I'm going ton to try to qualify for a car loan next week. I don't know how that's going to go. One one hand if I was approved it'd let me pick something I actually like instead of whatever I can get, on the other my cost of living has gone way up since I had to move out of Easthampton and making car payments plus gas and stuff... it's a lot.

Before I do that I'm asking help - please consider hiring me to pet sit and buy comics from us! If you have the means, I would really like to get this crowdfund completed. Every dollar I can raise is one I don't have to pay back with interest in the shape of a car loan. I think I need about $5000ish to get a car thats got a rear view camera, 4 wheel drive, mid to full size s.u.v. automatic I don't know how to drive stick shift and I'm not learning how right now with all the stuff I have going on. Just wanna get this over with. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading.

09/19/26 Saturday Noon: It's the official Batman Day! We're having our friend the dark knight come by to pose for pictures, a buy one get one half off batman stuff sale as well as selling the all new one shot Batman of Two Worlds with stories from both his mainstream and absolute title creators!
10/2026: date to be announced. We are hosting Jared Sarnie for his soon to be released graphic novel, The Machine is Broken, from Field Mouse Press.

11/19/26 Thursday 5pm - 7pm: Grace Desmarais will be here for her new graphic novel Song For Medusa! Grace is an old friend of Comics N'More, having designed signs, stickers we sell in store, tshirt styles you can buy from our threadless store and one time a really cool store front window display!

12/5/26 Saturday 4pm: Join us for a signing and meet and greet with comics author, editor, podcaster, and our friend, Dave Wielgosz - he grew up in Holyoke! He'll be here selling copies of his forthcoming collected edition printing of Showdown from Ignition Press.
