Apple Butter Festival! THIS WEEKEND!

Apple Butter Festival
Thanksgiving Weekend

November 27, 28, & 29
10:00-5:00
Celebrate the coming winter with a historic festival that dates back to 16th century Europe.

At the end of each harvest, we gather the windfall fruit and the remaining cider from the season and boil it down (in a copper pot over a live fire) to make a delicious apple butter.

The tradition has roots in 16th century Germany when villagers would gather as a community to make the sweet preserve and celebrate the changing seasons.
