Update from Balance By Touch Massage about COVID-19

Balance By Touch Massage

Dear Balance By Touch family,

We hope this letter finds you and your family safe and well. As you all may know that our state has its timeline for phases of reopening businesses, and the governor will provide his own specifics for how and when we can legally begin to practice massage again. We will keep you updated as we get this information. Here are some considerations we have planned ahead as we cautiously begin seeing you all again.

When we reopen, we will be taking extra precautions to keep our clients and staff safe. What does this mean for you? Fortunately, our office setting has always been  a clean environment, and we have always been committed to protecting your overall health and well-being.

Enhanced cleaning procedures including 15 minutes between each appointment to deep clean room and common areas.

Staff's temperature screenings at the start of their shift to guarantee a temperature of 100.4 or lower (in accordance with CDC recommendations) to ensure our staff is well and ready for your service.

Therapists will wear a mask during any interaction with a client.

Increased education for our staff focused on sanitation and hygiene standards for smart, safe practices

We will need your cooperation with:

Temperature check via a touch less thermometer prior to your service (Clients with a temperature of 100.4 or higher must reschedule their appointment with no late cancel fee or penalty)

Affirmation that you aren't sick or haven't been around anyone that has been sick

Illness and rescheduling: If a client has had a fever of greater than 100.4 in last 24 – 48 hours, has a severe cough, been in contact with someone with flu-like symptoms or feels worn down, then you will be required to reschedule your appointment.

If you’re looking for more ways to protect yourself and your loved ones, check out the CDC website.

Thank you so much for sticking with us. We look forward to supporting each other during these challenging times.
