First Friday, Carolina Pedal Pop-Up, Heritage Turkeys

In this exhibition, Jenn Hales delves into the essence of womanhood and the transformative experience of motherhood. Her inspiration stems from the narratives surrounding Medusa and the triad of Maiden, Mother, and Crone. Through these archetypes, she reflects on the strength, fragility, and wisdom that accompany the different phases of life.

We are so excited about this event! Why? Because our neighbor from AntFarm, Mike Deloatch, is the owner of Acid Guitar Electronics and the organizer of the pop-up. He has put together the first pedal showcase in Raleigh and Rebus Works is the host! What does it all mean? We will have several pedal makers from around North Carolina setting up and showing off their goods. Bring your guitar and plug in to the best our state has to offer. BONUS: Mike also has a huge heart and is offering 40% off all his pedal sales go directly to Helene Relief efforts. UGH!

HURRICANE HELENE RELIEF

We’re still in shock about what has happened to our neighbors in the mountains, and we’re doing what we can here by collecting Go Fund Me requests and adding them to our relief page. Most of the people we’ve contacted who are still operating have requested that we promote their products, as they want to avoid missing out on fall visitors. We are working on acquiring more of their goods, so keep Rebus in mind as you start your holiday shopping.

Terra Nova Beer Co. is a small craft brewery in Asheville, NC. They opened their doors in May of this year and were starting to get their footing in the community when Helene tore through Western NC. Thankfully Terra Nova’s buildings were ok, but the economy of Asheville was hit hard. Like many other small businesses in the Asheville region, they are now relying on customers outside of their area. Thank you for trying their beer! Come by for a pint if you’re ever up that way.

Rebus Works got a call that Terra Nova needs help moving produce, so we are now carrying three of their beers to go and putting them on our taps.
