BAD Studio Tour + Ambient Thursday + Vinyl Night

IT'S TIME TO TOUR SOME STUDIOS
We've got a great week planned with some of our favorite music nights and the Boylan Arts District Studio Tour.

Ambient Thursday (9/25) is great way to hear new artists on the electronic scene while keeping the night a bit more mellow. Vinyl Night (9/26) will start your Friday off right and pump you up for fun with 60s British Invasion tunes.

Ever wanted to see inside a working artist's studio? Now's your chance! The Great Raleigh Trolley (free!) will be taking you around the area to spaces and artists in the Boylan Heights neighborhood, where we're fortunate to have many phenomenal artists. It's the perfect time to add a local piece to your collection!

AMBIENT THURSDAY
with Triangle Synth Party
Come join us this Thursday for TSP Presents Ambient Thursday at Rebus Works.

This month's TSPPATRB series presents Bryce Eiman (Bynum) and Silk Moth (Carrboro).

By definition, ambient music is meant to be passively experienced. Though you can certainly concentrate on what's being played, you don't necessarily have to. The idea is to create a mood, an atmosphere, where people can hang out, have a snack and a cup of coffee, shop, or just listen to some music you probably haven't heard before. Hopefully you'll notice what's being played enough to show your appreciation to the artists.

Thursday, 9/25, 6-8pm
VINYL NIGHT
with Super Stuff Records
Practice your screaming, as it's 60s BRITISH INVASION this Friday for Vinyl Night!

Russell will recreate the sounds of The Beatles first hitting American soil with some sweet tunes from the long haired "beatniks" who broke the musical mold...and some hearts...along the way.

Even though The Beatles were the first, we can't forget about other great acts from that era: The Kinks, The Who, The Zombies, Small Faces, The Troggs, and so much more. But please, try and control your screaming and running in the shop!

If you want to get prepared, go to youtube and watch "A Hard Day's Night". ; )

Friday, 9/26, 6-8pm
