Greetings and salutations from the anchored depths of our unified hearts at Nectar Healing Arts, “Tortoises can tell you more about the road than hares.” Gibran With the New Year comes the potential for new beginnings and renewed commitments. To create space for these fresh patterns, there has to be a dissolving, ending, and closure of the old. This year is a potent blend of perseverance (Capricorn) and creative revelation of truth (Aquarius), both culminating in the demand for a different approach to daily living. We are being called out of the shadows, individually and collectively, to step forward into an original way of being in the world. The theme of Slow and Steady arose for both of us as a focal point, a mantra to return to, as we flourish and thrive through the coming year. We all have our protective shells, some are required to keep us safe and sane while others have become unconscious and unnecessary. Slow and Steady Wins the Race. What if we could find an anchoring point inside of ourselves, no matter the external circumstance, that allowed us, nearly effortlessly, to facilitate our own healing, evolution, and desires? Steady As We Go. Each moment becomes a choice...will we respond with fear or from love? If we begin with examining what remains in the way of our true heart's desire, and continue forward with action, persistence, and gratitude for what is, each of us will find our way home.
