The Cozy Corner: May Edition

THE COZY CORNER
Updates, what's on the horizon, and meaningful things worth sharing.
FROM THE KITCHEN
The last few weeks have been full of teacher appreciation orders, ribbons, gift tags, and LOTS of whoopie pies 💛

Since my boys were little, I’ve always loved creating thoughtful gifts for teachers and seeing how much those small gestures warm their hearts. Being able to help make that happen on a much larger scale through Cozy Crumb Kitchen this Teacher Appreciation season felt incredibly special.

And while things definitely are not slowing down around here, the kitchen is starting to shift into graduation celebrations, backyard gatherings, summer flavors, and all the cozy moments that come with this time of year ☀️
WHAT'S BAKING

RECIPE TESTING
If you’ve been following Cozy's socials lately, you’ve probably seen two fun and delicious new flavors:
Lemon Dream & Cookies & Cream

This past week Cozy held a social media "flavor-poll" for even MORE NEW FLAVORS. Peanut Butter Chocolate and Salted Caramel were the clear favorites, and recipe testing is officially underway!

If you’re local to Holliston and would like to help taste-test either of these flavors, please reply to this newsletter or email [email protected]

CONGRATS GRAD!!
A simple yet festive whoopie pie platter can make such a fun centerpiece for a graduation celebration. Whether it’s part of a larger dessert spread or taking center stage on the table, whoopie pies always bring a little extra fun to the party.

No grads this year? Feel free to share Cozy Crumb Kitchen with a friend who’s celebrating one 🎓
WAIT....WHO BROUGHT THESE?!?
Whoopie pies are a quintessential summer BBQ and picnic dessert. Easy to grab, easy to eat, and sturdy enough to hold up through backyard parties, pool days, and long afternoons in the sun.

Whichever flavors you choose, be prepared to answer: "wait...who brought these?!?!"

COZY MOMENTS FOR A CAUSE
Sharing local causes, kind people, and meaningful work
Cozy Crumb Kitchen recently donated mini whoopie pies for favor mugs supporting the First Annual Fundraiser & Professional Networking Breakfast for Neurodiversity Support for Children (NSC).

Founded by Holliston resident Dr. Jillian Bennett, NSC supports the strengths, mental health needs, and overall well-being of neurodiverse
children by helping families access neuropsychological evaluations, therapy, advocacy services, financial assistance, and educational resources.
If you’d like to learn more about their work or contribute to their annual fund, you can do so through their website: Neurodiversity Support for Children (NSC).
💛
Cozy Crumb Kitchen also recently donated a Cozy whoopie pie gift package to support the annual “Prize a Day for the Month of May” fundraiser hosted by Holliston Newcomers & Neighbors
When our family moved to Holliston three years ago, Holliston Newcomers & Neighbors was the first group to welcome us. Attending their Touch-a-Truck event at the elementary school complex before we officially moved to town gave our family a chance to spend time at the schools and helped make a brand new community feel a little more like home.
