Our June news is here!

The Latest LACASA Collection Happenings!
Welcome, June!

As we're gearing up to celebrate fathers AND the first day of summer, we can't help but think, "Doesn't everyone love June?" With ideal weather, the end of the school year, and the outdoors fully blooming, it's a pretty perfect month to enjoy in Michigan.

We hope to see you at our annual Father's Day sale, which runs June 15-18. Read on to learn more about our sales and events this month.

Fun facts about June:

* June is the month with the longest daylight hours of the year in the Northern Hemisphere, and conversely, June has the shortest daylight hours of the year in the Southern Hemisphere.
* The June bug (or June beetle) is named for the month itself. They’re only found between May and June in the USA and survive on a mixed diet of plants and shrubbery.
* No other month in the calendar year (leap years or not) begins on the same day of the week as June.
* In the United States, June is LGBTQ+ Pride Month, Great Outdoors Month, and National Oceans Month.

Where do you go to school? What are your favorite subjects? Least favorite?
I go to Fowlerville High School. I am in 9th grade. My favorite subjects are Band and English. My least favorite is math.

Do you know what you would like to do after high school graduation?
I would like to be a child psychologist.

Do you have any pets?
I have 6 pets. I have two dogs, two cats, a guinea pig, and a fish.

Tell us about your family.
I have a very large family who I love with all of my heart. I give a lot of credit to my mom who raised me to be the young woman I am today. I couldn’t be more thankful for her. I have my step dad who also helped raise me. I have two siblings, a younger brother and a younger sister, and I have my dad who even though I don’t see a lot, still has a special place in my heart. I have a big family on both sides who I love very much.

What do you most enjoy about working at LACASA Collection?
Working at LACASA has really taught me to be thankful for what I have. It’s an honor being able to walk through the door and see the amazing people I work with and wonderful customers and be able to call that my job. It it such a good atmosphere. Working at LACASA for a little over a year has been amazing and I am very lucky.

What are your hobbies/interests? Do you play any sports?
I do not play any sports, but I am in Colorguard and Band. Doing Colorguard during marching season is one of the things I enjoy most about school, and during concert season I feel the same.

If you could travel anyplace at no cost, where would you go?
If I could travel anywhere with no cost, I would travel to the middle of nowhere. No specific place but somewhere that is open with fields and just calm scenery. Nature is one of the things that really makes me appreciate life and I would love to travel somewhere that I can just relax!

What is your favorite color?
My favorite color is purple.

What are your summer plans?
This summer, I plan on finishing my room which is being remodeled, working more, and marching season is coming up!

Thank you, Bella, for everything you do to make LACASA Collection such a welcoming place!
