What's Happening in the Locals Community?

Starting this weekend, Montgomery Countryside Alliance hosts its annual Ride for the Reserve Fall Farm Bike Tour to raise awareness and funds to protect farmland in the Ag Reserve. Join one of the following small in-person guided rides this weekend: 

Poolesville Family Ride (Sat, Sept 11, 9am): A 6-10 mile family ride for riders 12 and up starting at Poolesville High School and led by a local cyclist. 

Dickerson Ride (Sun, Sept 12, 9am): An 18-25 mile ride for riders 18+ starting in Dickerson and led by a local cyclist.

Dancing Leaf Farm, 21920 Beallsville Road, Barnesville, is open on Saturday for the Farm Chicks Yarn Harvest featuring Dalis' own line of hand-dyed yarns and fiber.

On the Locals Stage: Two terrific local bands, No Stop Light (saxophone/percussion and acoustic guitar) and Touch of Grey (mix of folk, Americana, bluegrass), will entertain with smooth rock covers, sweet originals, rich harmonies, instrumental breaks, and a good time!
