SEPTEMBER MAGIC
We know, it's probably a bit too early for this party, but FALL IS ALMOST HERE!

We're starting to feel the seasonal change in the air, the pumpkin flavors are re-appearing in shops, and we're pulling out our sweaters from storage. 

It feels like we can't get much done in the summer. There are too many things planned, too many places to drop the kids, and the pounding heat and humidity warps the brain a bit keeping us from dreaming up new projects. But Autumn, oh Autumn. The crisp air loosens the brain fog and makes us want to get organized and jump start something new. 

Rebus Works is here for all of that! 

Stop on by in the mornings, grab a coffee, and have a moment to dream up those projects, 'cause it just feels like a great time to start.

Want to kick off pre-fall in style?

Come on out this Friday for our Hopscotch Party. Chip Robinson's Sextetto will be playing, Groove Wagon will be sponsoring, and Raleigh Tamales will be making food. 

Then on Saturday, we have Music Under the Shady Tree, a music and movement class for mixed ages (0-5yrs) . Scroll down for more information.

HOPSCOTCH PARTY
We are so excited to have Chip Robinson's new band The Sextetto play at Rebus this Friday. Savage Knights will be opening the night.

Chip and his band The Backsliders have been a Raleigh institution, so we're excited to hear some new music from an amazing musician!

This event is sponsored by Groove Wagon, who will be bringing their slushee machine! Raleigh Tamales will be here in their food truck cooking some delicious food.

At the intersection of feminism and pop culture, you will find BxE Buttons x StaciaMade. They are a wife and husband crafting power couple who design all of their own pins, patches, stickers, pennants, t-shirts, totes, decorative pillows, and socks.
MUSIC UNDER THE SHADY TREE
with Sprout Songs Music
Bring along babies, toddlers and children up to 5yrs old, and join Margaret Rush this Saturday for a 45-minute class including songs, rhythmic chants, movement, instrument play, and of course lots of fun and silliness! 

We will make Music Together sitting, standing and dancing under the shady trees at 10am. Participating older siblings can join if necessary. If you are a new parent looking for an activity that helps you engage and bond with your baby more, this will also be fun for you while supporting their musical and overall development. Come earlier to learn more about the Music Together program, and to secure your spot as space will be limited to 15 families. Unfortunately, class will not be held if it is raining.
 
Music Together is a research-based, developmentally appropriate early childhood music curriculum. All children are musical and can learn to sing in tune, keep a beat, and participate with confidence in the music of our culture, provided that their early environment supports such learning. Our classes are informal, non-performance-oriented musical experiences; developmentally appropriate for children and easy for parents and caregivers, regardless of their own musical ability.

HURRICANE HELENE RELIEF ON OUR WEBSITE
We are still reeling from the events that impacted our neighbors in the mountains, and we’re taking action by gathering GoFundMe campaigns and featuring them on our relief page.
