It is with a heavy heart, that I believe it is time to close my practice temporarily until we are given the all clear by the appropriate authorities.
I take very seriously my moral and ethical obligation to each and every one of you, and subsequently each of the people you may be in contact with now and the near future. With the information I have, with the input from my father who has spent his entire 40 year career studying and teaching about viruses, and listening to my gut, I feel I have to be part of the solution and not the problem.
At this time, it is imperative that we all do our part to put into practice the social distancing guidelines. It may seem too early here, in the Red River Valley, but the whole point of this practice is so that we stop it from spreading before it is out of control. If, when this is all over and it feels like we over-reacted, that will be the best case scenario.
In the meantime, I will do my best to keep in touch with you via these emails and Facebook. I will try to compile a list and links for things you can do at home to alleviate your bodily discomforts and emotional stress. I am honored to be a part of your healthcare team, and will do all I can to assist you as we move forward.
I apologize for any inconvenience this may bring, but this is truly a scenario where it is better to be safe than sorry. It would be devastating to me if anyone I worked with got sick.
